Both Dr Tan Ying Chien and Dr Wu Yijun established their careers in reconstructive plastic surgery before expanding into aesthetic practice. Their experience spans the management of complex reconstructive conditions across Singapore’s public healthcare system, providing a strong foundation for both functional and aesthetic procedures.
Today, their practice combines reconstructive expertise with aesthetic surgery, supported by international training, thoughtful treatment planning and personalised patient care. Dr Tan Ying Chien and Dr Wu Yijun are accredited plastic surgeons with complementary clinical interests spanning reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. While both practise across a broad range of procedures, each brings distinct expertise that allows patients to receive care tailored to their specific concerns and treatment goals.
Dr Tan Ying Chien
Consultant Plastic Surgeon
With more than 20 years of medical experience and over a decade specialising in plastic surgery, Dr Tan Ying Chien has expertise in reconstructive, craniofacial and aesthetic surgery. His subspecialty interests include eyelid surgery, ear reconstruction and cleft surgery.
Having trained in Singapore, Taiwan and Japan, Dr Tan continues to contribute to reconstructive care as a Visiting Consultant at KK Women's and Children's Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. He is also one of only two surgeons in Singapore providing specialised ear reconstruction surgery.
Dr Wu Yijun
Consultant Plastic Surgeon
Dr Wu Yijun is a MOH-accredited plastic surgeon with more than 15 years of experience in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. Her clinical interests include reconstructive microsurgery and facial aesthetic procedures, supported by specialist training and international experience across the United States, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan.
As a female plastic surgeon, Dr Wu takes a thoughtful and holistic approach to patient care, working closely with patients to develop personalised treatment plans that support both function and confidence.
