Vaser Liposuction Surgery
At SW1, we understand the frustration of dealing with stubborn fat that do not respond to diet or exercise. With the VASER Liposuction, you can now experience body contouring with great precision and safety.
The SW1 Approach to VASER Liposuction
With the VASER Lipo being highly customisable, gentle and precise, we ensure that every patient receives personalised care and results.
VASER Liposuction not only selectively removes fat deposits, it also tightens the skin and enhances natural muscle definition for maximum sculpting effect.
VASER Liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure that results in minimal discomfort, downtime, reduced blood loss and a faster recovery.

Who is a
Good Candidate
for VASER Liposuction?

As VASER liposuction is not a weight loss procedure, you should be at or near your ideal weight (within 30%), with the intention of getting rid of stubborn, residual fat.
You should also not have medical conditions that could impair the healing process.
Contact us at 6690 2471 for a personalised assessment – we warmly welcome you to our luxurious premises equipped with accredited in-house operating theatres for your convenience.

What Areas Does VASER Liposuction Treat?

VASER Liposuction is very flexible and can effectively target: the abdomen, back, hips, thighs, arms, male and female breasts, cheeks, jaw and neck, as well as the buttocks.

Can the Removed Fat be Transferred to the Breasts?

The fat harvested from VASER Liposuction is not suitable for transferral to the breasts. However, our plastic surgery clinic does provide another method of liposuction that allows for fat transfer to the breasts to achieve a beautiful and modest breast augmentation.

Patient Assurance: More Efficient & Safer Than Conventional Lipo

The VASER Lipo is gentler yet more targeted; and it also removes larger and denser fats more easily than the conventional method. It is flexible, giving patients the ability to target more parts of the body for a more contoured figure overall.
Unlike traditional liposuction which manually dislodges fat cells (possibly damaging surrounding tissue), VASER Lipo is a minimally invasive form of liposuction that uses ultrasound to break up fat cells – a much gentler and more precise method. How the
VASER Lipo
Works

1
The patient will receive IV sedation so that they do not have any awareness or memory of the surgery.
2
A small probe is inserted between the skin and muscle layers and ultrasound energy is transmitted to break up fatty tissues.
3
Selected fat tissues are precisely targeted and broken down into liquid form, without affecting surrounding tissues. This results in minimal trauma and a faster recovery.
4
The liquefied fat is then easily and gently removed (aspirated) using a cannula.
The heat generated during the process also allows for a moderate degree of collagen production and skin tightening effect, further improving the aesthetic outcome.

Road to Recovery

Rest assured that in the hands of an experienced plastic surgeon and proper post-op care, your recovery will be a speedy and satisfying one.
Results can be immediately visible; however, the final result will only be evident after 6 months.
Mild swelling and bruising are expected for 1 to 2 weeks, and customised pressure garments will help reduce swelling and improve contour.
