Nose Surgery
The nose is a defining point of the face, providing it with structure and symmetry. At SW1 Plastic Surgery, we’re committed to helping patients achieve a more attractive and refined nasal profile.
The SW1 Approach to Rhinoplasty
Based in the heart of Asia, our Hybrid™ Rhinoplasty is specially designed to help Asian noses achieve optimal refinement and proportion that complements their facial features.
We address all facets of nasal form and function, ensuring that appearance goes hand in hand with health, safety and comfort.
We welcome patients to our spacious premises, fully equipped with accredited in-house operating theatres so that your time with us is smooth and convenient.

Who Should Consider
a Rhinoplasty?

For most Asian patients, common reasons for a rhinoplasty include raising a flat nose bridge, refining a bulbous nasal tip and reducing flared nostrils.

Other features that a rhinoplasty can fix include: reducing a wide nose base, straightening a crooked nose, correcting nasal asymmetry, straightening a nasal bump, as well as improving nasal (breathing) function.

We believe that the best nose surgery is one that doesn’t look “done”. To that end, our plastic surgeons are dedicated to creating natural-looking results that complements the individual’s facial profile well.

Enhancing the
Asian Nose

A specialised field of expertise, one must first understand the unique features of the Asian nose:
Asian noses have cartilages that are smaller and softer (than Caucasian noses), causing the nose to appear flatter.
Asian noses tend to have a depressed nose bridge and a short columella, causing the tip of the nose to appear flatter.
Some Asian noses are relatively short, causing the nose to turn upwards and the nostrils to be seen more prominently.
Asian noses tend to have wider nostrils, causing them to appear flared.

What the
Hybrid™ Rhinoplasty

Raises the nose bridge
Refines the nasal tip
Reduces a wide nose base
Creates a smooth and natural nasal profile
To achieve this, a personalised implant is used to augment and elevate the nasal structure; ear cartilage is used to refine the shape of the nose tip; and finally, the base of the nose is reduced.

FAQ on Rhinoplasty

What is the difference between Hybrid™ Rhinoplasty and Traditional Rhinoplasty?

Hybrid™ rhinoplasty is specifically designed for the Asian nose. Compared to traditional rhinoplasty, Hybrid™ Rhinoplasty gives more optimal refinement and proportion for Asian noses. This technique involves using a customised implant for the nasal structure and the patient’s own cartilage for nose tip refinement, as well as narrowing of the base of the nose.

What are the different types of nose surgery?

Is rhinoplasty a permanent procedure?

How long after rhinoplasty will I see the final results?

Will rhinoplasty leave visible scars?
