Who Should Consider
an Eyelid Surgery?
If you have monolids, puffy eyelids, droopy upper eyelids, eyebags or tear troughs, eyelid surgery may be a good solution for you.

Not only does it improve one’s appearance, in some cases it can also improve the functionality of the eyelids, such as if the upper eyelid has been drooping to the point of obstructing vision.

How
Eyelid Surgery
Works
While this varies depending on the type of procedure, this generally involves:
Double Eyelid Creation: The most common eyelid procedure among Asians, double eyelids can be made through the conventional (incisional) or suture (non-incisional) method, depending on the patient’s suitability and preferences.
  • In the conventional method, excess skin (and sometimes fat) on the upper eyelids is removed, and the incision is stitched back discreetly along the eyelid crease.
  • In the suture method, stitches will be placed in the eyelid tissue (not visible from the outside), which will create the double eyelid crease.
Eyebag Removal: This can be corrected through the removal of excess fat from the lower eyelids and redistributing the fat that remains, thereby tightening and smoothing out the undereye area.
Epicanthoplasty: This removes the skin fold that covers either the inner or outer corners of the eye, with the effect of widening or shortening the eye. This may reveal hidden double eyelids, change a tapered eyelid to a parallel one, narrow the space between the eyes, and more.
Eyelid Fat Grafting: This restores volume and improves the contours around the eye. This may be used to fill up hollowed and sunken eyes, or to improve dark eye circles.
With our attentive approach, experienced staff, diverse areas of expertise and all-in-one facilities, we are sure that you will be well taken care of. We warmly welcome you to our clinic for a personalised consultation.
